In response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, the elevated travel restrictions, government advisements, and most importantly, to ensure the safety of each one of our guests, Avalon Waterways is voluntarily and temporarily pausing global operations for travel until 31 May 2021.
Our team will get in touch with guests affected by this suspension in order to adjust their plans for future travel. There is no need to contact us.
With the temporary suspension of operations, Avalon is offering options to move travel dates or cancel bookings for travel for most tours through 31 May 2021 as follows:
Affected guests can move their holiday to any other itinerary, destination, brand (Globus, Cosmos or Avalon Waterways) or date in 2021 or 2022 without penalty and with an additional re-booking credit*. To expedite the process and ensure guests have adequate time to adjust travel plans without worry, we have automatically assigned this booking protection in the form of a Letter of Credit to all guests with upcoming departures.
And for added flexibility for future travel plans outside of our suspended travel dates, we’re also offering a Peace of Mind Travel Plan, allowing movement of future 2021 and 2022 bookings to any other date, departure or brand up until your final payment date.
*Peace of Mind Travel Plan offer valid for suspended departures through May 31, 2021 until further notice. Refund in the form of a Letter of Credit, redeemable for travel departing by December 31, 2022. The new booking bonus will be in addition to the Letter of Credit amount. Only one booking bonus per person can be applied per reservation. Changes in airfare may apply, and the new booking is subject to any increase in vacation price for 2021 and 2022 travel.
