Visa top tips
Travel regulations are constantly changing and as a tour operator are unable to guarantee that the information we provide concerning such requirements is up to date or always accurate as we are not specialists. It is your obligation to ensure that you check the most up to date position well in advance of departure and comply with all necessary Visa, Passport or other travel regulations.
Please see below some handy information that will assist you with this.
- When travelling outside the United Kingdom, a passport is required for UK citizens. Some countries require that the expiry date is valid for a certain period after your return date. Extra months on an adult passport due to early renewal will not count, so some passport holders will need more months remaining to travel. The latest requirements will be on the the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website.
- Some Countries require a visa or a visa waiver so we would advise you to check the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website or alternatively contact CIBT who are visa specialists. Individual consulate embassy charges can vary for Visas, please research the latest charges so you can include it within your holiday budget.
- Check the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) for any other travel regulations which can be found under the Countries entry requirements as countries continually change requirements and we are unaware of all your travel plans or personal circumstances.
- We recommend you also verify your flight information, and review if your flight transits through another country, as that country may have additional visa requirements for transit.
