Optional excursions in addition to those included in your itinerary may be available for purchase when in resort or via our `MyAvalon’ page on our website 48 hours after making your booking. These will normally go on sale approximately 90 days before departure and close 3 days prior to departure.
From the time you book right through to your return home, we will keep you informed by sending various communications at different stages of your holiday experience.
This will be provided by e-mail approximately 28 days before departure. Please ensure you provide us with a valid email address at the time of booking and check your junk email should you not receive the documentation email.
The final payment is due 90 days before travel. The date can be found on your Booking Summary under Key Dates.
We have found over the years that cruising holidays are not ideal for young children. For this reason we do not take bookings for children under 8 years of age and there are no special arrangements or activities for children on board.
Please note that any cancellation fees are calculated based on how far in advance you cancel before the departure date. Please check our cancellation grid within the Deposit Amount, Final Payment Dates & Cancellation Fees Schedule' section of our Booking Conditions for more detailed information.
Gratuities are included for services during any land stay and for the cruise part of your holiday with the exception of our South American & Egyptian cruises. The pre-paid gratuities for South American cruises only include the Cruise Director, gratuities to shipboard crew and naturalists should be paid while onboard. For the Egyptian cruise, gratuities for the Cruise Director and shipboard crew cannot be pre-paid and will need to pay on-board. A voucher will be provided in your documentation for any prepaid gratuities.

We use mobile phone or email contact information for emergency purposes in time sensitive situations so that should the need arise, we can quickly get in touch. This information will not be used for marketing purposes and will be disposed of after your trip. Final documentation will not be released until you have provided us with this information.
